Well, folks, this here review is going to be a good one. No matter what the outcome, we'll be getting The Bruni's take on Graydon Carter's playground, a circus that, by comparison, hasn't come to town since perhaps the early days of Bette. At Waverly, the Light Bruntastic will certainly touch on the celebs, the pomp and circumstance, The Graydon, the whole 'soft open' business, the whole $55 mac 'n cheese business, the whole 'impossible to get in' business, and more. He might even discuss the decor and food. The point is, it's going to be a good show any which way you slice the stars. Leading indicators point to one star being the sweet spot— a menu of capable dishes will allow for doting on the room and the atmosphere. Plus, Graydon Carter, Sean MacPherson and Eric Goode are not the types to get goose-egged, provided, of course, that they were smart enough to spot the guy from the Times before he got hit with piss-poor service.
