New York's premier maker of authentic Belgian waffles, will celebrate "National Waffle Day" on Sunday, August 24 by giving away free "Brussels" waffles. Since Oct 2007, Wafels & Dinges has become a Big Apple phenomenon. Thomas DeGeest, a native of Belgium, has dazzled New Yorkers with his amazing waffles, often covered with delicious toppings ("dinges") from his iconic yellow truck.
